Signing Up to Toccata and Set Up Your Organisation

User Scope

Signing up to Toccata makes you an Organisation Admin for the organisation you create or a standard user if accepting an invitation from an existing organisation admin.

Registration

To sign up, go here: https://toccata-app.com/signup/

You will be asked to create a user account with your name, email address, and a password.

Organisation Name

Once your account has been created, you will be asked to give the name of your organisation. The organisation on Toccata is a tenant in the database. All your data and the users you invite will live in this tenant. The name of the organisation is used to give the tenant its name, and creates the URL root that all your data will be accessed from.

Choose the organisation name carefully. It must be unique within Toccata, so if anyone else has registered that name before, you won’t be able to use it.

For example, if, upon signing up to Toccata, your organisation was called “MegaCorp”, your tenant would be:

toccata-app.com/org/megacorp/

If you update the name of your organisation in the future, it will not update your tenant’s name. This is the root directory of the Toccata app that your data is accessed from.

To request your tenant is updated, please email support at: tenant-change@toccata-app.com You will be given a time slot at which point the tenant name will be updated.
