Items that receive no votes, or which cannot be fulfilled in the next development cycle due to a broad spread of votes, will be carried over into the October 2021 roadmap.
Problem Drivers
Toccata users will be able to record the driving forces behind a problem statement. This functionality is one of the optional elements of the Markdown Architecture Decision Records specification: https://adr.github.io/madr/
Example:
Company A has a problem with scaling their main aplication database
(problem), and the necessity to scale is the organisation's focus on growing the
total user base (driver). This problem is just one of many problems encountered
during the company's attempts to scale their user base.
Option Pros and Cons
A lightweight pros and cons system for options, so that the reasons for and against a given option can be quantified.
Example:
Company A has identified that MegaDB storage technology project (options) could
meet their scaling problem (problem). MegaDB has the advantage that it has an
API wrapper built in which suits their existing technology stack (pro), but is
written in a language they do not have skills in (con).
